I am an assistant professor at Duke University, joint between the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics and the Department of Computer Science. My research interests include (i) improving methods and monitoring for clinical LLMs, (ii) understanding clinical human-AI interactions, (iii) developing smarter electronic health records, and (iv) ML/NLP for women's health.
I recently completed my PhD in Computer Science at MIT CSAIL in the Clinical Machine Learning Group. Previously, I graduated from Stanford with a BS/MS in Computer Science.
Outside of my academic life, I am also a co-founder of Layer Health.
