Monica Agrawal

I am an incoming assistant professor at Duke University, joint between the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics and the Department of Computer Science. My research tackles diverse challenges across clinical natural language processing including scalable clinical information extraction, smarter electronic health records, and human-in-the-loop systems.

I recently completed my PhD in Computer Science at MIT CSAIL in the Clinical Machine Learning Group. Previously, I graduated from Stanford with a BS/MS in Computer Science.

Outside of my academic life, I am also a co-founder of Layer Health.Â
